Avalon has the classic Labrador temperament, relaxed and agreeable whether at home or in the show ring. She retrieves with great drive, is showing well in Obedience with the first leg toward her Novice title, and easily succeeded in Canine Good Neighbour testing at 11 months of age.

Compact and well balanced describes her physical structure. Her movement is smooth and effortless.

Highlights of her show career include Best Of Breed (BOB) in her first show, the South Western Ontario Sporting Dog Specialty, at age 6 months, in June 2006, and addition BOB wins at London (January 2007) and Moncton NB (May 2007).

Avalon earned her Companion Dog title under judges Peter Stewart, Cheryl Bishop and Susan Des Cotes, in Hamilton , Ontario . Carrying over one qualifying score from October 2007, she earned a 3^rd and 4^th place finish in her class on the weekend of February 16^th and 17^th, 2008.

On September 27^th, with 2 land retrieves (ducks) and two water retrieves, Avalon earned her Working Certifcate title. Congratulations Nora and Avalon!

Avalon lives a comfortable life in South Western Ontario.
